Michelangelo; Ink, Silk, and Gold; and Shinique Smith Exhibitions
Don’t miss this extremely rare opportunity to see works by one of the greatest artists of all time. Wednesday, January 6, is the last day to view Michelangelo: Sacred and Profane, Masterpiece Drawings from the Casa Buonarroti, an exhibition of 26 drawings that trace Michelangelo’s development as an artist, architect, and engineer, and offer an intimate look into the mind of one of Western art’s great icons.
Ink, Silk, and Gold: Islamic Art from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, a gorgeous and fascinating survey of Islamic art that spans the 8th to 21st centuries, and Shinique Smith: Wonder and Rainbows, a collection of highly expressive paintings, sculptures, and collages, will both close on Sunday, January 10.
