The family of murder victim Christopher J. Sparks posted a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) involved in an apparent road rage incident that led to the September 28, 2016 fatal shooting of Christopher J. Sparks.
Sparks, 36, was traveling southbound on Ed Temple Boulevard in a red Honda Accord and engaged in a loud, heated verbal argument with the occupant(s) of a silver newer model Chevrolet Impala (new body style) with dark tinted windows. Shots were fired in the area of the intersection of Buchanan Street just after 12:30 p.m. The suspect vehicle fled east on Buchanan Street.
The $10,000 offer is good until June 19, 2018 and is in addition to reward money of up to $1,000 being offered by Nashville Crime Stoppers. Anyone with information about Sparks’ murder, or who may have overheard conversations of persons with knowledge of the case, is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. The attached surveillance photos of the suspect Impala include the car traveling in the Metro Center/Rosa L. Parks area and then on Ed Temple Boulevard, just prior to the shooting, before making a left turn on Buchanan Street after the shooting.
