Quick, wet practice on Thursday
Under head coach Derek Mason, Thursdays have become known as ‘no sweat Thursdays’ during the season. A training session designed to help the team recover while getting the mental reps necessary.
The Commodores enjoyed their first no sweat Thursday of fall camp on Thursday afternoon but everyone ended up wet at the end of practice anyway. The football staff filled up 1200 water balloons and set up a water balloon toss at the end for the squad before a water balloon fight took over.
Vanderbilt is set to go back to work tomorrow afternoon with the team’s last practice before Saturday night’s scrimmage. The scrimmage will be the team’s second of the preseason.
