Quick response to a burglary alarm at Affordable Dentures, 932 Allen Road, led to Thursday’s early morning arrest of convicted felons Jimmy Galindo Jr., 31, and Marco Torres, 26, who are now both charged with aggravated burglary and vandalism.
They are accused of entering the business and attempting to open the safe. When police arrived, they located Torres and Galindo hiding in the ceiling. Torres surrendered himself. Officer Chase Hale and his canine partner Doc apprehended Galindo. Damage to the business exceeded $1,000.
Torres, of Kirby Avenue, has multiple prior convictions for aggravated burglary and theft. He is being held in lieu of $30,000. Galindo, of Hewlett Court, has previous convictions for vehicle theft, aggravated assault, and theft.
