Tennessee Highway Patrol: Already this year, 105 people have been killed on Tennessee roads. That is 14 more traffic related deaths compared to this time frame in 2018.
Traffic fatalities are down in the rural areas but are increasing in the urban areas. Last year at this time there were 41 urban traffic related deaths, currently there are 60.
It’s simple: You must be alert when interacting in traffic. Stop driving distracted, reckless and under the influence. Your life or the life of another depends on it.
